The Brew Pub of Franciscan Well boasts one of the best beer gardens in Cork City.The Franciscan “Well” itself is still flowing today and the Brew Pub is based on the site of an ancient Franciscan monastery. It has an extensive range of craft beers, ales, lagers and stouts and has just opened Cork’s first brewhouse Cocktail bar.
The flight will be served on a board with Green Spot, Chieftain IPA & a glass of still water, which can be a palate cleanser or to mix with the whiskey.
Customers will also get an information card, containing a description that dives into the whiskey itself and tells people what to expect, what to look for and why we have paired it with our very own Chieftain IPA.
Under the hustle and bustle of cobbled Dublin streets in the early 1900s, a rare whiskey was quietly making a name for itself. Green Spot is a non-age statement Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey comprising of pot still whiskeys aged between 7 & 10 years. The whiskey has matured in a combination of new bourbon and refill bourbon casks as well as sherry casks.
