Waterford made Thin Gin, ice, slimline tonic, Black Pepper & Lime Mist, served in a balloon glass
Thin Gin is from a Waterford company, Anchor Spirits Ireland Limited. In 2015 it took the award for ‘Best Irish Gin’ at the Irish Whiskey Awards and followed that with a Gold Medal at the 2016 awards. This was considered a great achievement considering the growth rate in the gin market.
Thin Gin is a full strength 40% gin. Inspired by the life and travels of a real person, Mr Isaac Thin, Thin Gin carries all the traditional gin botancials along with indigenous Irish flavours such as apple, tansy, and elderflower and finishes with a burst of exotic citrus; three in total. The citrus forward nature of the nose and the finish conjures summer sunshine even on the darkest winters’ day.
